MBA department organised a workshop on “Personality grooming and Professional Fashion sense” on 9 April,2026 for both MBA & BBA students. The trainer was Ms. Pooja Kumari, Owner of BITA/Model Mentor/Personality & Grooming Coach. The session guided students on workplace dressing, body language, personal branding, and corporate readiness, helping them develop a polished personality for career success. This type of workshop also helps our students to enhance confidence, communication, etiquette, and professional appearance.

MBA department organised a webinar titled “A Strategic Analysis of Financial Performance: Decoding Numbers for Project Selection” on 15 April, 2026. The speaker was Prof. Mary Joy, Lecturer, College of Business Jazan University (MOC), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The session focused on bridging the gap between theoretical financial concepts and their practical application in real-world decision-making. Participants were introduced to key financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, and were guided on how to interpret them for assessing project viability. The session also emphasized the use of important financial tools and techniques including ratio analysis, net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), and payback period to support strategic project selection. Through case-based discussions and practical examples, attendees gained insights into evaluating profitability, risk, and long-term sustainability of projects. The session highlighted the importance of aligning financial performance with organizational goals to ensure effective resource allocation.

MBA department successfully organised the Hand Holding Interactive session of our esteemed alumni Ms Lisa Jena, Soft Skill Trainer, Madhyanchal Professional University on the topic “Building Skills for Future?Ready Professionals” on 10 April, 2026. The expert talk emphasized developing soft skills and preparing students to become future ready professionals. Ms. Lisa Jena shared industry insights, practical tips, and experiences from her professional journey. Promote the “Student First” selfless teaching approach of Sage Group. Promoted the Alumni network and “Student First” teaching philosophy of sage group. She explained the way how student can improve their performance.

In the current competitive scenario textbook knowledge is not enough for survival in the market. One should have updated knowledge on various sectors for both technical and management students. On this track, Sagar Group of Institutions conducts 2-4 value addition courses in each semester of every stream, in which our group tries to provide them expertise in the field which is in high demand in the market that surely adds value to their course.

Industrial visits are the important part of our curriculum. It is a visit to the industry before completing studies in order to understand the reality and get prepared for it. The main aim of industrial visit is to provide an exposure to students about practical working environment. They also provide students a good opportunity to gain awareness about industrial practices.

With the help of these kinds of workshops they will get practical exposure and will also get updated with what is going around the world.
