A Department Academic Advisory Committee (DAAC) meeting was held on 13 March 2026. During the meeting, the committee members reviewed the Institute’s Vision and Mission, along with the Course Outcomes (COs) for the 2025–26 academic session, covering both the Odd and Even Semesters. Discussions were also held on Project-Based Learning (PBL), Experiential Learning, student internships, industry expectations, and student projects. The industry expert provided valuable suggestions and emphasized the importance of developing students’ practical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and industry readiness. The committee advised the department to make continuous efforts to encourage students to work effectively on their projects and develop innovative solutions to emerging problems in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
