Industrial Visit to LM Bakers Pvt. Ltd. (Parle G), Mandideep Organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, SIRT
On 17 December 2025, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, SIRT, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized an industrial visit to LM Bakers Pvt. Ltd. (Parle G), Mandideep for III and V Semester students of the department.
A total of 40 students participated in the visit, gaining first-hand exposure to the manufacturing of confectionery, industrial operations, and plant layout. The visit provided students with practical insights into industrial processes, production management, and operational workflows, complementing their theoretical knowledge.
The industrial visit was coordinated by Prof. Rajnish Jha (Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering) and Dr. Gaurav Sahu (Convenor, IIC), under the guidance of Prof. N. K. Sagar, Head of Department, Mechanical Engineering. The program successfully enhanced students’ understanding of industrial practices and operational management in a real-world manufacturing environment.
