Alumni Talk on “Scope of Mechanical Engineering in HVAC Sector” Organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, SIRT
On 19 December 2025, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, SIRT, successfully organized an Alumni Talk on “Scope of Mechanical Engineering in HVAC Sector”. The talk was delivered by Mr. Shubham Thakur, an HVAC Design Engineer at Confonomics Design Adventure, Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
During the session, Mr. Thakur interacted with students and explained the working of HVAC systems, including components such as air filters, electronic heating elements, exhaust outlets, compressors, blowers, and coils of the HVAC system. The talk provided students with valuable insights into practical applications and career opportunities in the HVAC sector.
The session was coordinated by Prof. Amit Vishwakarma, faculty of the Mechanical Engineering Department. A total of 25 students actively participated in the talk.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. N. K. Sagar, Head of Department (Mechanical Engineering), as Convener, and Dr. Rajiv Srivastava, Director SIRT, as Advisor, who extended their best wishes to all participating students.
