Expert Talk on “Advanced 2D Drafting & 3D Modeling” Organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, SIRT
On 12 December 2025, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sagar Institute of Research & Technology (SIRT), Bhopal, under the Student Activity Centre (SAC – AI & Coders Task Group) and IQAC, successfully organized an Expert Talk on “Advanced 2D Drafting & 3D Modeling” for Mechanical Engineering students in Seminar Hall ME-207.
A total of 75 students actively participated in the session, interacting with the expert and clarifying their doubts related to AutoCAD, industrial design workflows, and career opportunities in product design.
The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Rajiv Srivastava, Director, SIRT, with Prof. N. K. Sagar, Head of Department (Mechanical Engineering) as the Convener. It was successfully coordinated by Prof. Shivendra Singh and Prof. Amit Vishwakarma, Faculty Coordinators of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The session provided valuable insights into practical drafting and modeling skills, helping students enhance their technical knowledge and prepare for future industrial applications in product design and mechanical engineering.
