Students of EX branch successfully build a smart irrigation system using blynk app, NodeMCU & Soil moisture sensor after attending VAC.

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Sagar Institute of Research and Technology, Bhopal has organized  a Workshop on project development by PLC/SCADA technology today for 3 rd sem students.

In the current competitive scenario textbook knowledge is not enough for survival in the market. One should have updated knowledge on various sectors for both technical and management students. On this track, SIRT conducts 2-4 value addition courses in each semester of every stream, in which we try to provide them expertise in the field which is in high demand in the market that surely adds value to their course.

Sagar Institute of Research & Technology (SIRT) is very lucky to have academicians having rich experience in research and development area. Apart from teaching they spend their valuable time in developing various research projects to send for sanctioning of grants in various funding agencies. Some of the faculty members have been succeeded in getting the sanction of grant for their projects which has not only raised their knowledge but also the quality of Research & Development in SIRT. It is also helpful in creating research orientation among our students. Some of our faculty members have prepared such a quality projects that many MTech and BTech projects at a small level have been derived from these.

Industrial visits are the important part of our curriculum. It is a visit to the industry before completing studies in order to understand the reality and get prepared for it. The main aim of industrial visit is to provide an exposure to students about practical working environment. They also provide students a good opportunity to gain awareness about industrial practices.

Our students can excel in their field not only through textbooks but also by attending various workshops of renowned experts and learned personalities in the particular field. With the help of these kinds of workshops they will get practical exposure and will also get updated with what is going around the world. These workshops help our students gain strong foothold in their respective discipline and help them stand out among the rest. 

Sagar Institute of Research & Technology (SIRT) focuses on conducting various expert lectures for our students. These expert lectures are given by renowned personalities and intellectuals from academic as well as corporate world. This world definitely provides our students latest insights into the emerging technologies and advancements.

SEMINAR

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Sagar Institute of Research and Technology, Bhopal has organized  a Sage talk on Career Opportunity after Electrical Engineering.The resource person for this seminar was  Mr.Arjun Chhabra Sr. Faculty , ACE Engineering Academy.
Dr. Rajiv Srivastva, Director SIRT was adviser; Dr. Smita Shandilya (HOD) was Convener of the program. Asst. Prof Prachi Wadhawan coordinated the program.
During one hours of exciting and informative lecture, Mr. Arjun Chhabra listed up the engineer vacancies in PSU, government, and private sectors along with how to successfully prepare for the entrance exams and to give an impressive job interviews. Furthermore, being an engineer himself, he shared his own experiences and motivated the students by introducing other successful industryleaders who have already gone through the path that the students will soon face.
