At the Sagar Institute of Research and Technology (SIRT), part of the SAGE Group of Institutions, a two-day National Science Day celebration was organized with the support of the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology.

The theme of this year’s event was “Women in Science: Empowering a Developed India.” The aim was to encourage innovation and highlight the contribution of women in the fields of science and technology.

During the event, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized inter-departmental competitions including:

•   Poster Presentation

•   Technical Rangoli

•   Technical Model Making

More than 200 participants from different departments enthusiastically took part in these competitions. Students creatively explained scientific concepts through artistic rangoli designs and demonstrated innovative ideas through technical models.

The keynote speaker of the event was Dr. Pankaja Jain from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. The evaluation panel included Dr. Manju Agrawal and Richa, who encouraged students to develop new technological ideas and innovations.

At the end of the program, winners were awarded cash prizes, medals, and certificates. The management and faculty members of the SAGE Group appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and participants for making the event successful.
