Sagar Institute of Research & Technology (SIRT), Bhopal, under the SAGE Group of Institutions, has taken another significant step toward strengthening technical education by launching the Students’ Chapter of Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI).
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of SIRT organized the inaugural ceremony for the establishment of the IEI Students’ Chapter. The initiative aims to promote technical knowledge, professional development, and innovation among engineering students.
The event was graced by distinguished guests including Er. Rajesh Vishariya, National Council Member of the Institution of Engineers (India), along with Er. Avnesh Kumar Choubey, Honorary Secretary of the IEI MP State Centre, Er. Rajendra Gautam, and Er. Vivek Ranjan Shrivastava, who shared their insights on the importance of professional engineering bodies in shaping the careers of young engineers.
During the ceremony, Er. Sanjeev Agrawal, Chairman of the SAGE Group, and Architect Shivani Agrawal, Managing Director of the group, extended their best wishes for this new initiative and emphasized the importance of professional platforms that connect students with industry and engineering communities.
The IEI Students’ Chapter at SIRT will provide students with opportunities to participate in technical seminars, workshops, innovation projects, and professional networking activities, helping them enhance their technical expertise and prepare for successful engineering careers.
This initiative reflects SIRT’s continued commitment to promoting innovation, professional development, and industry-oriented learning among its students.
