Sagar Institute of Research & Technology (SIRT), Bhopal successfully organized its Internal Hackathon 2025 under the framework of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH 2025). The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of 108 teams comprising 684 students from various departments of the institution. The internal hackathon was conducted to screen, mentor, and select the best innovative teams that will represent the institute at the national level.
The hackathon provided a dynamic platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and innovative solutions to real-world challenges. Teams showcased their technical skills and original ideas through diverse projects, competing in a highly energetic and collaborative environment. The internal hackathon problem statements were derived from the official SIH 2025 portal, covering domains such as Smart Education, Agriculture, Health Tech, Environment, Tourism, and Digital Governance.

Addressing the participants, Er. Sanjeev Agrawal, Chairman of The SAGE Group, appreciated the efforts of all students and motivated them to take their innovations to the national level. He encouraged participants to strive for excellence and represent SIRT Bhopal in the upcoming stages of SIH 2025.

This internal hackathon served as a selection process for the national-level Smart India Hackathon 2025, ensuring that the most promising teams from SIRT will move forward to represent the institution on a bigger platform. The 2 Days evaluation activity of internal hackathon shortlisted 50 teams and nominated them as final selected teams at institute level.
SIRT Bhopal continues to emphasize fostering innovation, creativity, and research-driven learning among its students, preparing them to become future-ready innovators and entrepreneurs.
