Sagar Institute of Research and Technology (SIRT) Bhopal successfully organized its much-anticipated "Internal Hackathon 2024" on the 7th and 8th of September, as part of the institution’s preparations for the prestigious Smart India Hackathon 2024.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from 51 teams, all eager to showcase their innovative ideas and problem-solving skills across a wide range of fields. The internal hackathon provided a dynamic platform for students to present cutting-edge solutions, fostering creativity and technical acumen.
A distinguished jury comprising experts from both industry and academia evaluated each team based on key criteria, including innovation, novelty, cost-effectiveness, technical skills, and ideation. This rigorous evaluation process aimed to select the best teams to represent SIRT Bhopal at the national-level Smart India Hackathon 2024, scheduled for November 24th.
The selected teams will now advance to this prestigious competition, where they will compete against some of the brightest young minds from across India. This internal hackathon marks a crucial step in identifying top talent and preparing students for national recognition.
Prof. Praveen Kumar Kaithal, the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the event, expressed his pride in the creativity and talent displayed by the participants.
