As part of our ongoing efforts to provide practical industry exposure, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) at Sagar Institute of Research and Technology (SIRT)—a top-ranked engineering college in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh—recently organized an enriching industrial visit to Netlink, a leading global software solutions provider based in Mandideep, Bhopal.
The primary objective of the visit was to bridge the gap between academic concepts and real-world industry practices, offering students firsthand insights into how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are implemented in corporate environments.
Guided by the esteemed Head of Department, Dr. Kalpana Rai, over 120 students from the AIML department had the unique opportunity to explore Netlink’s operations and witness the integration of advanced technologies in software development. The visit offered valuable exposure to the software development lifecycle, AI-powered solutions, and emerging career paths in the evolving tech landscape.
During the visit, students engaged with experienced software engineers, project managers, and HR professionals who shared real-world insights on modern development practices, industry expectations, and the key skill sets required for building a successful career in AIML. They also gained clarity on internship opportunities, recruitment processes, and various job roles within the artificial intelligence domain.
