Event Rounds & Timeline
Two rigorously evaluated stages leading to the ultimate championship coronation. Bands must report at least 60 minutes prior to scheduled slots.
Round 1: Prelims & Showcase
Initial acoustic evaluation and stage performance. All registered bands take the stage to exhibit tight harmony, technical control, and vocal dynamics. Top scoring bands advance to the Grand Finale.
Round 2: Grand Finale Battle
The supreme rock showdown before a packed stadium crowd. Finalists face comprehensive evaluation by distinguished music industry judges and sound technicians for the ultimate ₹25,000 crown.
Bands arriving late will have the delay deducted directly from their 10-minute setup window. Slot sequences are drawn during the pre-event briefing.
Strict 25-Minute Performance Window
Strict chronological timekeeper enforcement is observed on the main stage console.
Patching instruments, pedal board calibration, DI boxes connection, drum kit seating, microphone height checks, and acoustic gain balancing.
Full live set delivery including originals, covers, medleys, or solos. Timekeeper counts down via stage LED screen facing the band.
Exceeding the total 25-minute limit will incur progressive point deductions and immediate sound feed cut-off by stage audio engineers.
Eligibility Criteria
All participating musicians must conform verbatim to collegiate festival guidelines.
Open to students from recognized schools, colleges, universities, and registered professional music academies.
School students must be studying in Class 10th or above. Participants below Class 10th are strictly not eligible to compete.
Each band must consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 playing members. Sound technicians or managers are not counted in stage quota.
A musician can be a member of only ONE band. Dual representation across multiple bands results in immediate disqualification of both entities.
Original physical School/College ID Cards or authorized bona fide institution verification letters are strictly mandatory at registration desk.
Performance Rules
Preserving collegiate excellence, professional decorum, and venue safety.
Bands may perform original songs, covers of recognized bands, or bespoke medley combinations. Creative reimagining and arrangements receive bonus points.
Content must remain strictly appropriate for a collegiate cultural audience. Vulgar, abusive, politically defamatory, obscene, or offensive lyrics will stop the performance immediately.
Bands are responsible for bringing their own electric/bass guitars, synthesizers, processors, drum breakables (cymbals/snare/pedal). Venue provides standard drum shell kit and PA system.
Participating teams are liable for damages caused to campus infrastructure or sound gear. Organizing committee decisions regarding schedule adjustments are final.

Technical competence, instrumental proficiency, fretboard precision, tempo preservation, and harmonic stability throughout songs.
Vocal / Instrumental Delivery
Vocal pitch control, pitch accuracy, timbre, modulation, dynamic tone clarity, guitar solos, and rhythmic basslines.
Coordination & Synchronization
Ensemble cohesion, tightness of drum-bass pocket, cue execution, clean transitions between movements, and chemistry.
Creativity & Arrangement
Originality of melodic motifs, innovative reworkings of classic compositions, intelligent structure, and distinctive sonic texture.
Stage Presence & Engagement
Concert energy, crowd interaction, stage mobility, performance charisma, and thematic showmanship under spotlights.
Overall Impression & Impact
Acoustic balance, timekeeping discipline, artistic uniqueness, and lasting musical impact left on the jury panel.
