6 Students of mechanical engineering department namely Ritwik Trivedi, ShreyanshChoure, Shubham Tale, SushmitaMaity, SayedMoshinRaza Naqvi and ShilpiDubeyapplied for a patent for “Automated Disinfector” under guidance of Dr.Irshad A Khan
	Two NCC cadets of departmentMr.ChetanKorde and Mr.Manpreet Singh won first prize in NCC parade on Independence Day.
A vintage car is assembled by Ritwik Trivedi, ShreyanshChoure, Shubham Tale, SushmitaMaity, SayedMoshinRaza Naqvi who are students of mechanical engineering department.
	Two projects prepared by students of Mechanical Engineering, Mr.ShreyanshChoure and Mr.Ritwik Trivedi under team name “Mask Eteers” and “Curie” respectively, got shortlisted for the second stage of ChhatraVishwakarma Awards 2020 under the guidance of Dr.NitinTenguria.
First prize was won by project “Dolphin” prepared by ShreyanshChoure, Shubham Tale, SushmitaMaity, SayedMoshinRaza Naqviand Ritwik Trivedi under the guidance of Dr.NitinTenguria.
	Students of Department of Mechanical Engineering visited Itarsi Loco shed and undergone the training there.
