Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)
PEO 1. Graduates have sound knowledge in Mathematics, Science and Mechanical Engineering for formulating, solving and analyzing the Engineering problems. 
PEO 2. Graduates have strong theoretical and practical knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, contributing to society through innovation, entrepreneurial skills, and leadership. 
PEO 3. Inculcating among graduates teamwork, communication, interpersonal skills and ethical approach adapting to changing environments of engineering/ technology. 
PEO 4. Prepare graduates to pursue higher education, work in R&D, become entrepreneur and make them aware of lifelong learning and professional ethics.
Program Specific Objectives (PSOs)
PSO 1. Able to apply knowledge of Mechanical Engineering subjects to create engineering drawings/ CAD models, analyze, and simulate them. 
PSO 2. Able to work in the project teams and develop real prototype utilizing department lab facilities. 
PSO 3. Able to apply acquired knowledge to arrive at solutions independently for real life engineering problems.

PO 1. Apply knowledge of mathematics, sciences and mechanical engineering fundamentals to solve problems of mechanical engineering.
PO 2. Identify, formulate and analyze complex problems relating to mechanical engineering. 
PO 3. Design solutions for Mechanical Engineering problems to meet the needs of the society with respect to public health, safety and environmental considerations. 
PO 4. Conduct investigations of Mechanical engineering problems for analysis and interpretation of data and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions. 
PO 5. Apply modern engineering and IT tools, techniques and latest software to solve Mechanical Engineering problems with an understanding of the limitations. 
PO 6. Apply reasoning and the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety and cultural issues related to Mechanical Engineering practices.
