Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) of SIRT has started in the year 2003 with an initial intake of 60 students and now it has been increased to 180 students. The Department of Computer Science & Engineering offers B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering & M. Tech. courses in Computer Science and Engineering and Data Science (Aprroved For Session 2022-23). Currently, the Intake of the Department for UG is 180 and PG is 48. It has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation in 2009 and 2014. The student chapter of various professional societies like CSI, ACM, and IEEE are active throughout the year to develop and support co-curriculum and extra curriculum activities among the students. The Department not only provides state of the art computing facilities to the students but it also provides knowledge to students with the latest technologies and practical exposure so that they can make their presence felt in the latest technical revolution.

She did her Btech in Computer Science and Engineering from SATI Vidisha in 1992 and completed her Phd. In Computer Science and Engg in the year 2014. Her area of specialization includes Web Engineering, Data Mining, Big Data and Cloud Computing. She has over 25 years of teaching experience. The experience includes 10 years in the Computer Science Department of “Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT)” at Bhopal. MANIT which is among the seven National Institutes of Technology in India, commanding a premium from best of the students and industries across India. She has also worked with many institute & Universities of National and International repute. For the last 11 years,  she is  working in SIRT Bhopal in various capacities. During the course of her 25 Years experience, she has published many papers in National and International Journals.
